In March 2021 we will be going to Santiago de Cuba, Camagüey, Trinidad and Guardalavarca again. Dancing will be the binding factor or this trip, but we will also show you the nicest hotspots of the southern part of the island.
The first week we’ll be spending in Santiago de Cuba, hometown of Luis, the owner of Mocitos Dance School. He will be more than happy to show you his roots, where he learned to dance Salsa by his sister and Rumba by his father: the Cuban Rumba and Son legend Roberto ‘Moso’ Salazar Pérez. We will also take you to a show at Tropicana, where he used to perform, to rooftops where spontaneous Rumba sessions occur and to some good parties.
Every morning you will be dancing 3 hours for 5 days in a row (Cuban Salsa, Son Cubano, Rumba, Afro Cubano, Rueda de Casino) with professional dancers. The classes will be adapted to your personal level, so from Beginners to Advanced levels. The dancers will also join you to Salsa parties and shows in the evenings, for instance in Casa De La Trova and La Claqueta.
The next week we`ll be visting Trinidad and Camagüey, and we’ll be ending the trip with 2 days in an all inclusive resort on a white sandy beach in Guardalavarca. Where, of course, we will be going to parties to dance, but also will have time to do some sightseeing and chilling on the beach.
More detailed information about the March 2021 trip and how to reserve your spot for it, will follow soon.
