Did you know that Luis, the owner of our dance school, is also a professional chef? Every month he combines the best of both worlds with Comida con Salsa. Club Akhnaton will be transformed into a Cuban restaurant – the one and only in Amsterdam and (far) surroundings. First you will enjoy a traditional Cuban Creole meal prepared by the ‘crazy chef’ himself, with on the menu typical Cuban dishes like ropa vieja, arroz congri and camarones enchiladas. After the dinner we we will move the tables aside and you’ll be getting a fun introduction workshop Cuban Salsa of 1.5 hours.
The Comida con Salsa concept is a fun night out and an approachable way to see if Cuban Salsa is something for you, your spouse, friend, sibling…. The original concept is with an introduction workshop Cuban Salsa. But during the monthly evenings in Club Akhnaton we will occasionally also combine it with Salsa workshops for more experienced dancers and it is possible to only join us for dinner. The Comida con Salsa concept can also be booked for a (private) party, workshop or event. E mail us for the possibilities on that.

Comida con Salsa – Home Deliveries!
Did you know that Luis, the owner of our dance school, is also a professional chef? Due to corona we sadly have to postpone our monthly Comida con Salsa evenings – on which we combine a traditional Cuban meal with an introduction workshop Cuban Salsa – until further notice.
But don’t worry: you don’t have to miss out on Luis’ cooking skills. Because every Friday & Saturday we do Home Deliveries of Cuban Creole meals in Amsterdam Area.
So have a look at the menu below, place your order, put some Salsa music in the background and you’ll have your own Salsa Party at home!
Orders can be done until 14.00 ‘clock, we deliver between 17.30 and 20.00 ‘clock.
